A teenager was critically injured following a shooting in the southeast part of Wichita.
The shooting happened around 8:15 a.m. Wednesday in the 9100 block of E. Harry at the Claremont Apartments, to the west of Harry & Webb.
Police detectives say two people were at an apartment when one person shot the other; a 16-year-old boy was hospitalized in extremely critical condition with a gunshot wound.
A person-of-interest has been detained by police, and investigators believe this was not a random incident; the two people involved knew each other.
