Wednesday's meeting is the last weekly meeting of the year for the Sedgwick County Commission. Commission Chair Ryan Baty tells KNSS News it's time to "tidy up" for the end of the year. That means formalizing agreements and contracts with dozens of entities operated by, or doing business with, the county.
Baty says local government plays an important role in any community. He says it is "where services matter" and where decisions are made that have a direct impact on people's lives.
Baty commented during his weekly appearance on the Steve and Ted in the Morning Show on KNSS.
