A reported tornado moved through the Reno County late Sunday night.
The twister touched down at about 10 minutes before midnight, causing significant damage to the city of Plevna, off of Highway 50 to the west-southwest of Hutchinson.
The tornado damaged utility poles, trees, and several homes, continuing to cause damage approximately five miles north and east of Plevna.
All roads into Plevna have been closed down.
The Red Cross is at the Abbyville Community Center east of Plevna to assist victims.
