One person was critically injured and another had serious injuries, after a vehicle crashed into a building on New Year's Eve.
It happened around 9:15 p.m., near the intersection of Douglas and Kansas. The vehicle caught on fire after the crash, but the blaze did not spread to the building.
Both victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
A portion of Douglas was blocked off for a time while Wichita Police investigated the crash.
