A two-car accident in west Wichita Saturday morning injured two people.
It was reported around 9:50 a.m., in the northbound lanes of I-235, about a half-mile north of Kellogg.
Two people were pinned in separate vehicles for a time but were extricated. Each had minor injuries and were transported to a local hospital.
Wichita Police had to close the ramps from eastbound and northbound Kellogg to northbound I-235 as a result. Traffic at the accident site was down to one lane going northbound and even the inside lane of southbound I-235 had to be closed temporarily.
