
An 18-year-old male suspect has been arrested after a hit-&-run traffic accident that left a 26-year-old woman critically injured in E. Wichita.
Police were called to the scene west of Douglas & Hydraulic before 9:30 p.m. Saturday, finding a woman with critical injuries.
The investigation showed the woman was leaving a business in the 100 block of S. Greenwood when she was struck by a speeding car as she was crossing the street. Officers found the car empty in N. Wichita at a hotel at 36th & Rock Road on Sunday.
Officers arrested the teen Sunday on one charge of aggravated battery, and two counts of hit-and-run.
