The Kansas Highway Patrol reports a female teen died from injuries in a crash late Friday night; the head-on collision happened on Kansas Highway 254 west of El Dorado in Butler County.

The investigation revealed 45-year-old Amy Brown of Eureka was traveling east-bound on the highway in an SUV in the west-bound lanes, when she collided with a Chevy Impala with three teens inside.

19-year-old Dylan Lawson of Augusta was driving the Chevy; 18-year-old Alexandria Epp and 17-year-old Lila Fisher, both of El Dorado, were passengers. All three were transported to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita; the driver and Epp were both wearing seat belts, but Epp died from her injuries.

Brown was also injured and transported to Wesley in potentially serious condition.
