McConnell Air Force Base will conduct a two-day training exercise Monday and Tuesday focused on preparing for and responding to natural disasters.
Residents near the base may hear tornado sirens and loudspeakers during Monday’s training. Emergency vehicles will also be active, which could cause delays for people entering the base.
McConnell officials say the exercise is part of the Air Force’s regular training to evaluate emergency response procedures and maintain readiness.
