At Tuesday's meeting the Wichita City Council will discuss the City's Water Conservation Rebate Program. Mayor Lily Wu tells KNSS News it rewards citizens who purchase water-conserving appliances. Wu says $150,000 is set aside for rebates.
Security at Botanica is on the agenda at Tuesday's meeting. Mayor Wu says $120,000 is to be spent on security cameras and new safety measures. Wu says it's to protect the 20-acre facility at Botanica.
Can drones help first responders? Mayor Wu tells K-N-S-S News the City Council will look into the possibilities at Tuesday's meeting. Wu says not only police and fire but also Public Works may find uses for drones.
