The Wichita City Council approved $6.5M in industrial revenue bonds to a local company.
Millenia Productions, LLC plans to build a 128 thousand square foot building near Toben and 37th Street North in northeast Wichita. The company must start construction within 120 days and be completed within 15 months.
Council member Becky Tuttle was pleased to see more economic development in her district and thanked the company for investing in the city.
Millenia Production manufactures, distributes and sells beauty products.
In other council news, the city's housing and community services department announced their 2021-2022 annual action plan. They will submit it to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to receive federal funds. Wichita is eligible for just over $4.7 million.
