A Wichita Police officer has been booked into the Sedgwick County jail.
Wichita Police Department Officer Joseph Spicuglia was booked Monday morning into the Sedgwick County Jail suspected of one count of stalking.
WPD officials recently learned Spicuglia was possibly involved in a domestic violence incident with a woman known to him. The department then requested the Sedgwick County sheriff's department investigate the case in order to prevent conflicts of interest. Their investigation led to the allegations leading to his arrest.
Spicuglia, who is a 25 year member of the department has been suspended.
