One person was hospitalized after the truck they were driving, plunged off of I-135, and into the canal.
It happened around 4:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon near 13th. Police say the pickup was speeding southbound on I-135 and struck 2-vehicles. It then went over the edge of the highway and landed on its top.
The driver was transported to an area hospital in serious condition. No other injuries were reported.
The accident closed traffic on I-135 for much of the afternoon. The accident remains under investigation.
