A man has been arrested on suspicion of human trafficking and child endangerment. On July 1, officers were investigating alleged sex trafficking at a motel in the 5800 block of west Kellogg. They made contact with an underage child who said that she was victim of human trafficking. The girl was placed into protective custody.

Investigators later identified Gary Lowe, III, 20, as a suspect in the case. He was located last Friday at a motel in the 900 block of south Broadway, where he was taken into custody. Two children ages 1 and 3, who were with Lowe were also placed in protective custody.
The investigation is ongoing.
