A Wichita man has been charged in connection to the abduction of an Arkansas girl.
David Roark, 35, was in court Monday, charged with 21 crimes, including kidnapping, child abuse and rape.
Roark was arrested last week after he was scene with the girl at a Wichita convenience store. Investigators say he was taken into custody as he tried to leave a home in north Wichita. The girl was found in a closet inside the home.
His next court appearance was set for Jan. 3. Bond was set at $1.5 million.
