A man was taken into custody following a stand-off with Wichita Police Friday evening.
Officers were dispatched around 6:45 p.m. to the 2500 block of West University for a weapon-related disturbance call.
Police say an argument occurred between roommates. A 46-year-old woman was seriously injured and taken to a local hospital.
A 38-year-old man refused to leave the residence, leading to the hours-long stand-off.
Eventually the man did leave and was taken into custody.
