Current, retired, volunteer and/or part time firefighters are taking part in the 2023 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb. It begins at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 9 at the Epic Center, 301 N. Main St.
The event first began in 2015 and returns this year after taking a hiatus during the pandemic. This year's participants will climb 110 floors, with each participant wearing a lanyard with the name and photo of a fallen firefighter from the 343.
All proceeds from the event will go toward the FDNY Fire Family Transport Foundation.
