A woman was hospitalized in critical condition after she was struck by a vehicle early Friday morning in E. Wichita.
The incident occurred north of Central & Oliver, shortly before 4:00 a.m.
Police officers arriving on the scene found a 31-year-old woman lying in the road; she appeared to have been struck by a vehicle that was no longer on the scene.
Neighbors are reviewing security footage, as investigators try to find the make and model of the suspect's car.
