For years, glasses were seen as the go-to accessory for nerd culture. However, in recent years many have turned to wearing glasses as a style option, even if they don’t need them to help their vision. Sadly for those that have invested heavily in the glasses look, they may soon go back to something people choose to avoid. The FDA recently approved a new eye drop that could replace reading glasses for millions.

There are 128 million Americans that use reading glasses on a regular basis, but that number may soon shrinks significantly. Vuity is a new eye drop that promises to provide sharper vision for six to 10 hours. The eye drops were recently approved by the FDA and hit the market for the first time this week.
