Threatening graffiti found in an El Monte school campus indicated that a school shooting would happen Monday, school officials said.
The graffiti, found in a bathroom on the Arroyo High School campus, was not described, according to CBS L.A., and a quick check of the school’s social media pages indicates no warning to the online community of students and parents.
The El Monte Police Department is aware of the threat to campus and said it will have increased patrols at the school on Monday, CBS L.A. reported.
KNX has reached out to both EMPD and Arroyo High School and is awaiting comment.
