Three men are dead in Pasadena and several others had to be rushed to the hospital after separate opiate overdoses within 24-hours of each other.
The first case happened on Friday at 4 p.m. and the last one was reported on Saturday at 1 p.m. There are seven patients in total. All are men between the ages of 30 and 60 years of age.
This cluster of cases poses as a concern for police and paramedics -as opium-related deaths are not common in Pasadena.
Investigations are working to determine if these cases are linked.
