Three students are being tested for the coronavirus at UCLA.
The news came as UCLA Chancellor Gene Block addressed the community in a statement online:
"To be clear, no one on the UCLA campus has tested positive for COVID-19. LACDPH has committed to expediting these tests for UCLA. As soon as we learn the results, we will inform you of any campus impacts."
They’re in self-quarantine, off-campus.
Block said in the statement "If you develop flu-like symptoms, seek medical attention. Students should call the Ashe Center Infection Control Line at 310-206-6217 and faculty and staff should call their health care providers."
Students are heading to class -- no classes have been canceled as of right now.
School officials are mulling whether to put classes online.
