According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 4.0 earthquake hit Tuesday, just east of Wildomar, located in southwest Riverside County.
There have been no reports of damage or injuries from 1:21 PM rumbler.
The quake occurred less than a mile from Murrieta, two miles from Lake Elsinore, two miles from Lakeland Village, and two miles from Menifee.
