It's heating up outside and just in time, LA County is re-opening today some of its outdoor fun spots to help you cool off.
The Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation will begin reopening certain non-contact amenities and park areas, based on the reopening plan for the County of Los Angeles.

Overnight family fishing and camping at some county parks will be allowed starting tomorrow.
Garcia says they'll be monitoring for overcrowding and to ensure people are wearing masks -- while NOT in the water, and keeping clear of one another.
LA County Parks will reopen with modified operations and strict health guidelines to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
"We are delighted to be able to reopen some of our non-contact amenities so the community can safely enjoy the emotional and physical benefits provided by parks," said Norma E. García, Acting Director of LA County Parks. "We remind the public that adherence to guidelines and precautions is critical to safely operate these open facilities and continue to do their part during this transition stage with COVID-19."
LA County Parks says it will assess the safety of park-goers daily and base decisions on reopening with partnership from the LA County Department of Public Health.
