Some nurses at Magnolia Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Riverside stopped coming to work today to care of sick patients this week -- some of the staffers themselves showed symptoms.

Riverside County Department of Public Health confirmed that 34 of the more than 80 people at the nursing facility have tested positive for coronavirus Tuesday.

One nurse, who did show up to work, told ABC 7 Tuesday that there was inadequate protective gear provided at work and they were scared.

More than 80 people were evacuated today.

Ambulances were transporting the people to other facilities Tuesday morning.

The 34 people, who are positive with coronavirus, will be taken away last. None will be hospitalized, according to the health department.
