The search is over for the man accused of pointing a gun at a cafeteria table full of students at Mount San Jacinto College earlier today. He's been captured at Los Angeles International Airport, trying to catch a flight out of the country.

No shots were fired in the encounter in the cafeteria, but it did prompt a lock-down of the entire campus and the cancellation of classes for the rest of the day.

Police searched for the gunman for more than three hours before lifting the lock-down. We don't know what led them to L-A-X, where they found the suspect and arrested him after he checked in for an international flight.

No one was hurt as he was taken into custody.

The Riverside County Sheriff's Department says it received a report around 9:30 this morning of a man with a gun on campus. No shots were fired and no one got hurt.

But classes were canceled for the rest of the day, and people on campus had been told to shelter-in-place.

The school's website had a message on its site Wednesday morning asking students to shelter in place.

The department said in a tweet that no suspect or suspects are in custody right now.

The department said in a tweet that the suspect is "20-30-year-old male, last seen wearing a blue/gray sweatshirt w an emblem, jeans and a red bandana."

If you have information regarding the suspect, please call Sheriff’s Dispatch non-emergency at 951-776-1099.

#SanJacintoLE is still on scene searching the area. No suspect(s) are in custody and the investigation is still fluid. We will post updates as we receive them. https://t.co/iAqPhowdon
