It’s been nearly two years since a little dog was rescued after being beaten and left for dead in a trash bin in Long Beach.
Maryanne James is her human mom, who says "she is our pride and joy and our angel and I don't know what on earth we would ever do if something ever happened to her."
She and her husband adopted Chloe.
Chloe's mom said "the doctors told us her outlook is good to fair, but when there's damage to all these organs they don't have as long a life span as some other fur-babies out there."
At the time she was found in the dumpster, she was in shock and her organs were shutting down.
She’s now on two different meds for her kidneys, as well as medication for her stomach and special food which she will need for the rest of her life. Her medical bills so far have totaled more than $2,400 so any help would be greatly appreciated.
The couple is determined to everything in their power to keep their little angel alive and well.
Any donations to help pay for her medical care will be graciously accepted.
