A beauty vlogger on Youtube called out Sephora for products being sold online she said were expired or close to expiring.

The products were two makeup lines that could be found in the sale section of the website, according to a story from Buzzfeed News.

Since Buzzfeed News inquired about the products, Sephora removed the links from the website, the Buzzfeed story says.

Makeup artist Lauren Updegrove put out a YouTube video over the weekend on her Lauren Mae Beauty channel, discussing the various makeup lines, when they came out saying the makeup was at least three years old.

The products were anything cream or liquid-based for the Sephora x Pantone Color Corrector Palette and Sephora x Mara Hoffman collection of makeup and creams.

She said she went through the sale page saying "these products have been on the sale page for a really long time. I just feel like it's long, I think it's been too long. I don't know why they are still selling them, there comes a time where it's like it's been three years, it's been three and a half years, it's time to take them off...I don't know what you need to do with it but I don't feel like it's ok..."

She said they are not powder products.

"[We] can confirm these products are not expired," a spokesperson for the company told BuzzFeed News.
