Just hours after we reported that a college student, who was falsely accused of threatening to shoot up his younger brother’s high school in Chino Hills had been barred from attending his brother's graduation ceremony, the school district has backed down.
Ever since he was arrested, life has been miserable for Nicholas Ceballos.
Someone heard him voicing concerns about the lack of security at Ayala High and thought he was making a threat. Charges were eventually dropped but he still deals with the aftermath.
"I don’t own any guns, I don’t have any plans, there was no social media about me saying anything like that but even now when people hear my name they automatically think of the whole incident," he said.
When KNX spoke to him, he said he was most upset after Chino Valley Unified officials told him he would not be allowed to go to his brother’s graduation.
KNX questioned the district and the Superintendent is now allowing him to attend the ceremony.
Ceballos says he hopes he can eventually forget about the accusations and just move forward with his life.
