With crowds now visiting the "Super Bloom" in greater numbers during the week, the City of Lake Elsinore is adjusting its plans.
Starting Wednesday, the city will have traffic flaggers from along the Lake Avenue site where the freeway offramps empty into the preserve.
More parking will also be available and the city says there will also be better coordination between Caltrans and the CHP over traffic control.
According to the city's Instragram post, on Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., city staff, law enforcement and flaggers will be at Walker Canyon and Lake Street to try to keep traffic flowing on local roads, off ramps and the freeway. However, if the off ramps become to crowded, Caltrans and CHP will decide whether to close them. Find updates at

- There will be no shuttle service Monday through Friday and designated parking areas include Walker Canyon Road (please keep moving and park toward the end of the road), the WYROC dirt lot located at 31000 Lake Street, and Temescal Canyon Road.
- The City remains flexible and will continue to adjust and improve each and every day. Find out more about our weekend and weekday plans at www.lake-elsinore.org/SuperBloom.
