The restaurant industry has gone through a number of changes over the last year. With delivery more prominent than ever, one of the major changes has been the growth of ghost kitchens around the country. Now, George Lopez is getting in on the trend as well, as the comedian recently announced plans to open a ghost kitchen in DFW.
George Lopez Tacos will serve delivery only tacos that were created by the comedian himself. Lopez joins a growing list of celebrities who have launched their own branded ghost kitchens recently. According to Dallas Eater, Lopez teamed up with virtual restaurant management company, Nextbite, to help operate the new ghost kitchen.
The new ghost kitchen is set to debut on delivery apps in DFW on June 8. Many fans are excited to give Lopez’s new restaurant a try. Hopefully the tacos don’t disappoint.
