One person is dead following a tour bus fire on the 60 Freeway.
The fire was reported at about 5:38 a.m Friday on the eastbound 60, just west of Azusa Ave. When Los Angeles County firefighters showed up, they pronounced one person dead. It’s unclear if the fire was the cause of the person's death.
The cause of the fire has not been released.
Two right lanes of the freeway were closed and remained shut down for several hours after the fire was extinguished.
The investigation is ongoing.
