
Los Angeles police Friday announced the arrest of three suspects in connection with the shooting death of a 25-year-old man in North Hollywood.

The victim, whose identity was withheld pending family notifications, was shot around 12:30 p.m. Thursday in the 7300 block of Lankershim Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Officers arrived to find the man down suffering from a gunshot wound. Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics could not save him and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Earlier, police said the victim was approached by three male suspects moments before one of them opened fire. The case was being investigated as gang- related, police said.
"Robbery Homicide Division Valley Bureau detectives responded and took over the investigation," according to an LAPD statement. "A total of three suspects were identified and taken into custody."
Angel Banuelos, 31; Joshua Provencio, 21; and Jonathan Cuellar, 24, were all booked on suspicion of murder and were each being held on $2 million bail, according to the LAPD.
"Detectives are actively searching the area for surveillance footage and witnesses," police said.
