Twelve masked suspects in hooded sweatshirts ransacked the businesses, knocking over multiple display shelves and stealing more than $90,000 worth of merchandise.

"The LAPD Organized Retail Crime Task Force (ORCTF) responded and assumed investigative responsibility. Working with the LAPD Topanga area officers and mall security, the ORCTF was able to quickly identify potential suspects and suspect vehicles involved in the crime," police said in a statement.

LAPD Southwest officers located one of the vehicles with five occupants inside around 9:40 p.m. Friday.

Investigators identified the suspects as 22-year-old Joshua Jones, 19- year-old Amaya McDonald, and 18-year-old Justin Jones, all Los Angeles residents.

The names of the two other occupants, who were juveniles, were withheld due to their ages.

A second vehicle was located Friday by Huntington Beach police officers around 11:50 p.m. Officers contacted ORCTF detectives, and stolen property from the Westfield Topanga Mall was recovered, officials said.

Joshua Jones was being held on $1.85 million bail, while McDonald and Justin Jones were being held on $150,000 bail. The relationship, if any, between Joshua Jones and Justin Jones was unknown.
