The accusers of former USC gynecologist George Tyndall are demanding an autopsy after his death Wednesday prevented a trial for allegations of sexual assault against him.
A spokesperson for the L.A. County Medical Examiner's Office said in an email obtained by KNX New reporter Margaret Carrero that the department's investigation determined a history of natural disease explains Mr. Tyndall's sudden death.

They also concluded that there were no suspicious circumstances for foul play, suicide, or toxins playing a role in his death.
Attorney John Manly, who represents over 200 of the alleged victims, including two involved in the criminal case against Tyndall, called the statement meaningless.
"Several of my clients just had to testify in front of an open courtroom where pictures of their naked bodies were shown that the guy took, and they want answers," he said.
Manly questions if Tyndall was terminally or seriously ill; was the DA or court aware of it? Adding that the victims he asked to testify recently certainly were not.
Tyndall was facing trial on more than two dozen felonies related to 16 former patients when he was found dead in his home on Wednesday.
