
Police Friday are investigating the discovery of a dead body that was found inside a charred vehicle in Lincoln Heights.
Firefighters from the Los Angeles Fire Department were called at approximately 7:11 p.m. Thursday to a vehicle fire at 1792 N. Pasadena Ave. and South 18 Avenue. After they extinguished the fire, they found a body inside the burned car, Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Nicholas Prange said.
The Los Angeles Police Department was contacted and will be in charge of the investigation into the death of the victim.
