USC men's basketball program was placed on 2 years' probation for former associate coach's role in national bribery scandal.

According to Bleacher Report, in June 2019, former USC Trojans assistant basketball coach Tony Bland was sentenced to two years probation and 100 hours of community service as part of an FBI investigation into the now infamous college bribery scandal.

Bland pleaded guilty in January 2019 to a felony count of conspiracy to commit bribery.

Bland, 38, of Los Angeles, was the first of four assistant basketball coaches who pleaded guilty to bribery conspiracy, according to Associated Press.
