Officers from the LAPD's Wilshire Division began pursuing the suspects around  8:47 p.m. Wednesday. When the suspects' vehicle reached the intersection of Oakwood Avenue and June Street, near the Wilshire Country Club, the vehicle turned around and drove toward the officers, who shot at the suspects, the LAPD said.

The suspects were able to escape and the pursuit continued to Wilton Place and Beverly Boulevard, where the suspects collided with an innocent party's vehicle in nearby Larchmont Village, according to the LAPD.

One of the suspects was taken into custody and at least one additional is still at large.

A woman in the car that was struck by the suspects was taken to a hospital with minor injuries, NBC 4 reported.

No officers were injured, the LAPD said.
