 
      
  An investigation is underway following an officer-involved shooting in Ontario involving Department of Homeland Security officers.

Just after 6:30 a.m. Thursday, officers responded to a request for emergency assistance from DHS officers in the 2800 block of South Vineyard Ave., according to the department, adding that none of its officers were involved in the shooting.
Ontario officers provided traffic control and scene security while DHS officers continued their investigation.
It's not clear whether anyone was actually shot.
The FBI and Department of Homeland Security are investigating.
