SANTA ANA (CNS) - A 23-year-old Huntington Beach man was charged Tuesday with fatally stabbing another man in Fountain Valley.

David Michael MacDonald was charged with murder with a sentencing enhancement for the personal use of a deadly weapon.
MacDonald is accused of killing 32-year-old Lorenzo Carreno of Santa Ana on Friday, according to Fountain Valley police.
Police responded to the stabbing at about 12:30 a.m. Friday at Newhope Street and Edinger Avenue. When officers arrived they found the victim suffering from multiple stab wounds and attempted to apply first aid before he was rushed to an area hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, police said.
Police did not release any further details about the attack.
