The three social media personalities, who go by Cinna, Valkyrae, and Emiru, were taking part in a marathon livestream highlighting female content creators around 9 p.m. Sunday night. They were walking down the bridge when a man stopped them and asked for a photo.
The same man returned about half an hour later and asked one of the women for her phone number. When she refused, he threatened to fight them.
The streamers say the man had their videos playing on his phone during the attack, and they're pretty sure he was stalking them.
A Santa Monica Police Department spokesperson said officers escorted the women to safety and looked for the suspect, but couldn't find him.
