Los Angeles police alleged the suspect stabbed a security officer in the face while trying to escape.

Devonshire officers said the attacker was armed with a knife that he used to cut the employee’s face. The suspect narrowly missed the loss and prevention employee’s eyes, according to the LAPD.

The suspect is described as 22 to 25 years in age, standing six feet tall and weighing roughly 190 pounds. He has short hair and was wearing a black hoodie with a Hugo Boss-brand label emblazoned across the front at the time of the alleged crimes, as seen in pictures the department provided.

This is a developing story.
