Villa’s Tacos wasn’t the only Southern California connection to Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show. A North Hollywood mother and her 10-year-old daughter got to salsa dance in the show.

Stephanie Stevenson, the owner of Stephanie Stevenson Latin Dance Studio in North Hollywood, told KNX News’ Emily Valdez she auditioned for the Super Bowl Halftime Show.

“As I was running out of the audition, they asked me, ' Doesn't your daughter dance?’” she recalled. “And I said, ‘Yeah, she does,’ and they said, ' Can you please submit her video?’” I submitted her video, and the rest is history.”

The duo was featured during the wedding portion along with Lady Gaga.

“The lights were like boom, boom, boom, and then the music and everything was just wonderful, and it was crazy,” Jade said. “There were like thousands of people.”

Stephanie said she’s mindblown by the whole experience.

“I can't believe that I'm sitting here and I'm telling you, 30 years after a salsa career, A. that I have a successful salsa dance studio, B. that I just performed at a Super Bowl, C. that I performed salsa with Lady Gaga and salsa with Bad Bunny.. and that I got to share it with my daughter,” she said.
