A person was hit by a vehicle and killed Wednesday in Long Beach.
The crash occurred about 5 a.m. at Seventh Street and Pepper Tree Lane, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
Information was not immediately available on the identity of the person who died at the scene.
The motorist remained at the location, police said.
