A man was fatally shot Wednesday in the West Adams area of Los Angeles, and an investigation was underway.
The shooting was reported about 7:30 a.m. in the 3100 block of West Pico Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police department.

Information was not immediately available on the identity of the fatally wounded man, who died at the scene. No arrests were reported, and no suspect description was released.
