The Beach City Sharks are heading to the (Pop Warner) Super Bowl.

The South Bay youth football team are the first from Los Angeles to get this far in 15 years, KNX News’ Nataly Tavidian reports. The team, whose players come from Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, and El Segundo, represents the Western region in the games.

Head coach Andrew Reece told Tavidian the boys are having plenty of fun out there.

“They've been working since August 1st and they're getting better every week,” he said.

Bradley Reece, the 11-year-old quarterback, said he’s feeling good and ready to play.

“I just love it and I just want to keep going,” he said.
