Silver Alert issued for at-risk man missing from Sun Valley

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - A Silver Alert was issued Saturday for a 68-year-old man last seen in the Sun Valley area of Los Angeles.

David Moradzadeh was last seen Tuesday at San Fernando Road and Sheldon Street, according to the California Highway Patrol, which issued the Silver Alert to help the Los Angeles Police Department locate him. Moradzadeh was believed to have been on foot.

He is 5 feet 8 inches tall, 160 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. It was not known what he was wearing when he went missing.

Anyone who has seen Moradzadeh or knows where he might be is urged to call 911.

The CHP activates Silver Alerts to aid in the swift recovery of missing people who are 65-years-old or older or developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired.
