WESTMINSTER, Calif. (KNX) — The son of a former Real Housewives of Orange County cast member was back behind bars Tuesday after he was convicted in a Costa Mesa shooting and declared a fugitive last year in two drug cases.

Josh Waring, 33, was arrested Jan. 10, according to Orange County Jail records. He is currently being held without bail and is expected to appear in court Friday for a pretrial hearing.

An arrest warrant was issued for Waring, who is the son of former RHOC star Lauri Waring Peterson, in September when he failed to show for a court hearing, according to CBS Los Angeles.

Waring is now staring down the possibility of more jail time for violating the terms of his parole, the outlet reported.

He was arrested in June 2020 in Huntington Beach on drug charges, including possession of fentanyl and drug paraphernalia. Waring was also accused of falsely representing himself to a police officer.

Waring had another run-in with the law on May 8, 2021, when he was pulled over in a stolen rental car in Lake Forest and arrested on drug possession charges, according to authorities. He was accused of keeping fentanyl and methamphetamine, as well as drug paraphernalia in the glove compartment.

Waring was originally charged with three counts of attempted murder, along with a sentencing enhancement alleging attempted premeditated murder, for the 2016 shooting of Daniel Lopez outside a home in Costa Mesa, according to CBS. Two others escaped injury in the drive-by shooting.
