LOS ANGELES (KNX) – A Union Pacific train derailed Saturday in the Lincoln Heights area.
Seventeen cars derailed near the LATC Intermodal Terminal, according to KTLA. The crew members onboard the train were not injured.
Multiple outlets reported the train derailed in an area where thousands of boxes are left by cargo thieves.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
