UPDATE: Leona Alvarez has been found, authorities said Friday afternoon.
LONG BEACH (CNS) - Authorities Friday sought the public's help to find a 67-year-old woman who went missing from her assisted living facility in Long Beach.
Leona D. Alvarez was last seen about 9 a.m. Thursday at the facility in the 200 block of Redondo Avenue, according to the Long Beach Police Department.

Alavarez is Black, 5 feet, 3 inches tall, weighs 112 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a blue dress with red and white stripes and white shoes.
