LONG BEACH (CNS) - A 67-year-old woman who went missing from her assisted living facility in Long Beach has been found, authorities said Friday.
Leona D. Alvarez had last been seen about 9 a.m. Thursday at the facility in the 200 block of Redondo Avenue, and authorities sought the public's help to find her.
On Friday afternoon, the Long Beach Police Department reported that she had been found in Los Angeles and had been returned to her home. Other details were not released.
